ATEX safety barrier
Description
The MTL7787+ safety barrier with shunt diode conducts an electrical signal but limits the energy transfer to a threshold at which an explosive atmosphere cannot be ignited. Connected in series with the application's signal lines, the device protects cables and equipment installed in the explosive area against errors occurring in the safer area.
